VFG Alu-Adapter M5 external thread to 1/8 inch internal thread
The VFG adapter is a high-quality aluminum adapter with M5 external thread and 1/8" internal thread. It is universally applicable and fits all VFG cleaning rods for rifles, handguns, and shotguns (in conjunction with thread reducer and knurled nut) as well as other cleaning rod brands with these threads. The adapter is designed to hold two felt cleaning elements. The first felt cleaner is screwed onto the wooden screw thread and securely fixed to the adapter. By moving the cleaning rod back and forth, the barrel can be effectively cleaned, polished, oiled, or degreased. A slightly rising shoulder at the end of the thread ensures that the felt cleaner is slightly expanded when turned further – for a tighter fit in the barrel and increased cleaning effect. The second felt cleaner is simply pushed onto the metric fine thread. When retracting the cleaning rod, the soiled felt is automatically stripped off at the muzzle – an efficient, clean solution for all calibers. Der VFG-Adapter ist ein hochwertiger Adapter aus Aluminium mit M5-Außengewinde und 1/8"-Innengewinde. Er ist universell einsetzbar und passt auf sämtliche VFG-Putzstöcke für Büchsen, Faustfeuerwaffen und Flinten (in Verbindung mit Gewindereduzierstück und Rändelmutter) sowie auf andere Putzstockfabrikate mit diesen Gewinden.Der Adapter ist zur Aufnahme von zwei Filzreinigungselementen konstruiert. Der erste Filzreiniger wird auf das Holzschraubengewinde aufgeschraubt und so sicher auf dem Adapter fixiert. Durch Vor- und Zurückbewegen des Putzstocks kann der Lauf effektiv gereinigt, poliert, geölt oder entfettet werden. Eine leicht ansteigende Schulter am Ende des Gewindes sorgt dafür, dass der Filzreiniger beim Weiterdrehen leicht aufgeweitet wird – für eine straffere Passung im Lauf und erhöhte Reinigungswirkung.Der zweite Filzreiniger wird auf das metrische Feingewinde lediglich aufgeschoben.
