RWS 7x57 R 10,5g KS 20 cartridges
The sister cartridge with rim to the 7x57, introduced in 1893, was developed for combined hunting weapons.
The 7x57 R is ideal for hunting roe deer and medium-sized game at ranges up to 180m.
Preferably, rapidly expanding projectiles such as the simple RWS soft point projectile, the RWS double core projectile, the RWS pointed projectile, or the RWS H-jacket projectile should be used.
One of the secrets of the exceptional precision of the RWS POINTED projectile (KS projectile) lies in the optimal coordination of the jacket wall thickness and the hardness of the lead core.
The external shape of the projectile and the long projectile cylinder also create ideal conditions for maximum precision with low air resistance.
Whether strong or weak game – the RWS KS projectile mushrooms in a controlled manner. It releases energy evenly into the game body for a safe exit while maintaining an effectively enlarged residual body.
