RWS 7x57 R 11.5g ID Classic 20 cartridges
The rimmed sister cartridge to the 7x57, introduced in 1893, was developed for combination hunting weapons.
The 7x57 R is ideal for hunting roe deer and medium-sized game at ranges up to 180m.
The basic idea of the RWS ID CLASSIC bullet is to ideally combine width and depth effects on target. This has been achieved by the connection of two differently hard lead cores that interlock in a tapered shape.
The soft front core fragments in a controlled manner, quickly transferring its energy into the game body. The rear core of the ID CLASSIC bullet mushrooms significantly compared to the RWS UNI CLASSIC bullet, making it particularly suitable for light to medium-sized game.
The nickel-coated jacket made of flow steel protects the barrel and continuously thickens towards the rear to ensure controlled deformation.
The torpedo-shaped rear of the RWS ID CLASSIC bullet ensures particularly good flight stability.

Die im Jahre 1893 vorgestellte Schwesterpatrone mit Rand zur 7x57 wurde für kombinierte Jagdwaffen entwickelt.
Die 7x57 R ist ideal für die Jagd auf Reh und mittelschweres Hochwild in Einsatzbereichen bis zu 180m.
Die Grundidee des RWS ID CLASSIC-Geschosses besteht darin, Breiten- und Tiefenwirkung im Ziel ideal zu kombinieren. Gelungen ist dies durch die Verbindung von zwei verschieden harten Bleikernen, die zapfenförmig ineinandergreifen.
Der weiche Bugkern fragmentiert kontrolliert und gibt so seine Energie schnell im Wildkörper ab. Der hintere Kern des ID CLASSIC-Geschosses pilzt im Vergleich zum RWS UNI CLASSIC-Geschoss stark auf und ist somit besonders geeignet für leichtes bis mittleres Schalenwild.
Der nickelbeschichtete Mantel aus Flussstahl schont den Lauf und verstärkt sich kontinuierlich nach hinten, um eine kontrollierte Deformation sicherzustellen.
Das torpedoförmige Heck des RWS ID-CLASSIC-Geschosses sorgt für besonders gute Flugstabilität.
