Each model in the series has passed the shockresistance tests with flying colors. With an overall length that is up to four centimeters shorter compared to similar riflescopes, the Blaser B2 riflescopes are extremely compact. In hunting, this short design ensures that the attachment device can be comfortably operated in the shoulder position and that the center of gravity of the weapon is not unnecessarily shifted forward. Another advantage of the short length is the short travel distances of the movable lenses in the zoomsystem, resulting in better mechanical precision and a more stable point of impact when changing magnification. At the same time, the mechanical robustness compensates for the additional stress on the riflescope when shooting with the attachment device. In combination with the easy-to-mount, absolutely repeatable attachment mounts and the corresponding attachment optics, the Blaser B2 riflescopes become true night hunting specialists. Jedes Modell der Serie hat die Schussfestigkeitstests mit Bravour bestanden. Mit einer gegenüber vergleichbaren Zielfernrohren um bis zu vier Zentimeter geringeren Gesamtlänge sind die Blaser B2 Zielfernrohre äußerst kompakt. Auf der Jagd sorgt diese Kurzbauweise dafür, dass das Vorsatzgerät im Anschlag komfortabel bedienbar ist und der Schwerpunkt der Waffe nicht unnötig nach vorne verlagert wird. Ein weiterer Vorteil der geringen Baulänge sind die kurzen Verschiebewege der beweglichen Linsen des Zoomsystems und dadurch eine bessere mechanische Präzision sowie stabilere Treffpunktlage beim Wechsel der Vergrößerung.
