With the Hornady Superformance V-Max in caliber .17 Hornet (1.3 g – 20 grs.), a convincing performance increase is achieved. A speed of up to 60 m/s more than usual is possible with this centerfire cartridge, also without higher gas pressure, subjectively higher recoil, or louder gunfire. Even at greater distances, one can easily make an optimal shot with high killing effect. The bullet responds immediately upon impact with the game body and disintegrates. Instant effect as desired, and the risk to the hinterland is kept to a minimum. Furthermore, the fur hunters will benefit here. Besides a 4.5 mm entry hole, the pieces (in normal cases) show no further damage. Reloading is possible. Extremely burn-stable. Mit der Hornady Superformance V-Max im Kaliber .17 Hornet (1,3 g – 20 grs.) wird eine überzeugende Leistungssteigerung erreicht. Eine Geschwindigkeit von bis zu 60 m/s mehr als üblich, ist mit dieser Zentralfeuerpatrone auch ohne höheren Gasdruck, subjektiv höheren Rückstoß oder lauteren Schussknall möglich. Auch auf größere Distanzen kann man problemlos einen optimalen Schuss mit hoher Tötungswirkung antragen. Das Geschoss spricht hierfür sofort nach dem Auftreffen auf den Wildkörper an und zerlegt sich. Augenblickswirkung wie man sie sich wünscht und die Hinterlandgefährdung wird auf einem Minimum gehalten. Des Weiteren kommen hier die Balgjäger auf ihre Kosten. Außer einem 4,5 mm großen Einschussloch, weisen die Stücke (im Normalfall), keine weiteren Beschädigungen auf. Wiederladen ist möglich. Extrem abbrandstabil.
