This initializes an electrochemical reaction that releases electrons. These are collected from the cathode of the carbon membrane and converted into usable energy. After their initial activation, the energy cells remain under available voltage at all times and require only occasional reactivations for continuous use. The first activations can be easily done with any type of water. After that, it is beneficial to reactivate them with warm to hot water until the end of the energy cells' runtime. This ensures the optimal reaction and the fully available capacity of the energy cells.
