The Franchi Horizon Synthetic Black bolt-action rifle is the first model in the Franchi family of bolt-action rifles with a detachable 3-shot magazine and a grooved bolt, featuring distinctive lines.
At the beginning of the new Franchi Horizon, the Horizon Black Synthetic is the reference version of all bolt-action rifles in the Horizon family. The strong lines of the Black Synthetic are emphasized by the special design of the grooved bolt with the Dependa Bolt 3-Fin locking system, which allows for a 60° opening and access to the bolt thanks to a streamlined, conical bolt handle, enabling quick reloading even with large scopes. The grooved bolt has a special shape that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also allows for smooth reloading even in icy conditions. It is lightweight and handy, making it particularly suitable for selective hunting of game animals, both during tracking and while observing from towers, as the stock, designed with an exclusive Franchi design, allows for easy carrying. The rifle stock already features preset profiles on the stock and fore-end for the included sling attachments and for mounting the bipod. It comes with the Relia Trigger group, light and sensitive, between 0.8 and 1.9 kg, calibrated with the help of the adjustment screw. The barrel, made of cold-hammered chrome-molybdenum steel, ensures maximum shooting accuracy. The Horizon Black Synthetic, like all Franchi rifles, also has the 1 MOA certification from three fired shots.
