They are designed to have a tight tolerance for precision cleaning. The brushes are made of a distinctive blue fiber that is thick and stiff and retains its shape well. This allows for back-and-forth movement as opposed to traditional brass and bronze brushes. They can be reused multiple times before they wear out.
