Sound suppressors are equivalent to the firearms for which they are intended. The use is only permitted on firearms authorized for the purpose covered by the need. Please observe the relevant regulations regarding carrying or transporting.
Sound suppressors can cause irreparable damage to the firearm or the suppressor itself if used/installed improperly, potentially also resulting in serious bodily injury. We recommend having the compatibility of the suppressor/firearm/ammunition combination confirmed by the manufacturer of the firearm or the suppressor. Before using the suppressor, the alignment of the barrel's axis to the suppressor axis should be checked using a caliber gauge by a qualified gunsmith, and the suppressor should be aligned axially if necessary.
By purchasing, the buyer confirms that they have taken note of the above instruction, commits to comply with it, and releases the seller from any claims arising from improper use/installation or inappropriate combination of suppressor/firearm/ammunition.
Sound suppressors can be purchased since February 20, 2020, with a valid hunting license (without prejudice to the registration requirement in the WBK). They may only be used with hunting-approved long guns for centerfire ammunition. Purchase is also possible on a green WBK with the corresponding pre-entry or for collectors/experts (corresponding red WBK).

Vor Benutzung des Schalldämpfers sollte die Flucht der Laufseelen- zur Schalldämpferachse mittels eines Kaliberlehrdorns durch einen qualifizierten Büchsenmacherbetrieb überprüft werden und der Schalldämpfer ggf. axial ausgerichtet werden.

Schalldämpfer können seit 20. Februar 2020 gegen gültigen Jagdschein erworben werden (unbeschadet der Eintragungspflicht in die WBK). Sie dürfen ausschließlich mit für die Jagd zugelassenen Langwaffen für Munition mit Zentralfeuerzündung verwendet werden. Erwerb ist ebenfalls auf WBK grün mit entsprechendem Voreintrag oder für Sammler/ Sachverständige (entsprechende WBK rot) möglich.
