Smith & Wesson M10 "Victory" Bayerische Polizei. Collector's rarity nr.gl. with a lot of history, manufactured around 1944 for the US Army. The revolver was handed over to the Bavarian Police as initial equipment after the war. The model bears the inscription BAVARIA MUNICIPAL POLICE and the stamp BYP in an oval. 4 screw revolver matching numbers in all parts and in original condition with parkerized surface and original nr.gl walnut grips from American walnut. Barrel profile mirror bright, grooves and lands sharp-edged. Hammer and trigger color case hardened. Particularly fine, completely dry trigger. Elaborately crafted cylinder axis lock. Exposed hammer, 3/4 fluted cylinder and cylinder latch. The rear sight is milled into the frame bridge. Original inscription/stamp: Barrel top = SMITH&WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A. PATENTED FEB.8.06.SEPT.14.09.DEC.29.14. Barrel left = SMITH & WESSON. Barrel right = 38 S&W. CTG. Barrel bottom = Serial number V 6612xx P (Military proof mark). Smith & Wesson M10 "Victory" Bayerische Polizei. Sammlerrarität nr.gl. mit viel Geschichte, gefertigt um 1944 für die US Armee. Der Revolver wurde nach dem Krieg an die Bayerische Polizei als Erstausrüstung übergeben. Das Modell trägt die Beschriftung BAVARIA MUNICIPAL POLICE und den Stempel BYP im Oval. 4 Schrauben Revolver nummerngleich in allen Teilen und im Originalzustand mit parkerisierter Oberfläche und original nr.gl Holzgriffschalen aus amerikanischen Walnuss. Laufprofil spiegelblank, Züge und Felder scharfkantig. Hahn und Abzug bunt gehärtet. Besonders feiner, völlig trocken stehender Abzug. Aufwändig gearbeiteter Trommelachsenverschluss. außenliegenden Hahn, 3/4 geflutete Trommel und Trommelschieber. Die Kimme ist in die Rahmenbrücke eingefräst.
