Miyamoto Musashi is regarded as one of the most remarkable samurai in Japanese history and lived from 1584 to 1645. He is praised as the best swordsman in Japan. He was a fighter, artist, and craftsman at the same time. He developed his own fighting style, known as "Niten Ichiryu," which is still taught today. In this style, both short and long swords are used simultaneously. His founding of a school for tsuba (guard) making is unforgettable. His most famous, very simple tsuba consists of two oval rings. - Blade in Shinogi-Zukuri style with fuller (Bo-Hi), hand-forged from 1045 carbon steel. - The blade is finely sharpened with an integrated Hamon line for a particularly authentic appearance. - Handle wrapping made of black cotton in the classic Hineri-Maki style. - Black, high-gloss lacquered scabbard (Kuroro style) made of wood. - With a long tang, which is fixed in the handle with 2 bamboo pegs (Mekugi). Er war Kmpfer, Knstler und Handwerker zugleich. Er entwickelte einen eigenen Kampfstil, der als "Niten Ichiryu" noch heute gelehrt wird. Dabei werden Kurz- und Langschwert gleichzeitig eingesetzt. Unvergessen ist seine Grndung einer Schule fr die Stichblatt-Herstellung (Tsuba). Seine bekannteste, sehr schlichte Tsuba besteht aus zwei ovalen Ringen. - Klinge im Shinogi-Zukuri-Stil mit Hohlkehle (Bo-Hi), handgeschmiedet aus 1045 Kohlenstoffstahl. - Die Klinge ist scharf geschliffen mit eingearbeiteter Hamon-Linie fr eine besonders autentische Optik. - Griffwicklung aus schwarzer Baumwolle im klassischen Hineri-Maki-Stil. - Schwarze, hochglanz lackierte Scheide (Kuroro-Stil) aus Holz. - Mit langer Angel, welche mit 2 Bambusstiften (Mekugi) im Griff fixiert ist.
