For the right leg, they run counterclockwise, and for the left leg, they run clockwise. This creates a decreasing pressure from bottom to top, which stimulates blood return to the heart and oxygen supply to the tissue, preventing the formation of lactic acid. This shortens the recovery phase and accelerates the repair of damaged muscle fibers. Additionally, the micro-ribs create a massage effect and promote air circulation on the skin for more comfort. Furthermore, seams in the leg area are avoided, so the compression effect is not interrupted and the skin does not chafe.

Diese umschließen die Beine spiralförmig vom Fuß bis zum Oberschenkel. Dabei verlaufen sie für das rechte Bein gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, für das linke im Uhrzeigersinn. Auf diese Weise entsteht ein von unten nach oben abnehmender Druck, der den Blutrückfluss zum Herzen und die Sauerstoffversorgung des Gewebes stimuliert und die Bildung von Milchsäure verhindert.
