The Hubertus Woodcock Caller made of painted wood perfectly imitates the natural call of the woodcock. Depending on the intensity of the airflow, passing woodcocks can be seduced nearby or distant birds can be attracted. The searching sound "Quorren" emitted by the male during the flight courtship can be intuitively and convincingly mimicked with the caller. Thus, autumn becomes woodcock season! The two-syllable call "Puitzen" used by both sexes is produced by taking the caller into the mouth and forcefully expelling or inhaling air. To authentically create the sharp ending of the last syllable, the actual mouthpiece is abruptly closed with the tongue.

Beschreibung Chevron Down Chevron Up Der Hubertus Schnepfenlocker aus lackiertem Holz imitiert den natürlichen Ruf der Schnepfe perfekt. Je nach Intensität des Luftstroms können vorbei streichende Schnepfen in der Nähe bezirzt oder entfernte Vögel angelockt werden.Die während der Flugbalz vom Männchen abgegebene suchende Lautäußerung "Quorren" lässt sich intuitiv und täuschend echt mit dem Locker nachahmen. So wird der Herbst zum Schnepfenstrich! Der von beiden Geschlechtern verwendete, zweisilbige Locklaut "Puitzen" entsteht, indem der Locker in den Mund genommen und ruckartig Luft ausgestoßen bzw. wieder angesaugt wird. Um den scharfen Abschluss der letzten Silbe authentisch zu gestalten, wird das eigentliche Mundstück schlagartig mit der Zunge verschlossen.
