The SP5K is the semi-automatic civilian version of the legendary MP5K in caliber 9 mm x 19, which was developed in the 1970s for covert carry in the context of personal protection. Aside from the legally required changes inside the weapon, the SP5K is absolutely identical to the MP5K, particularly the interfaces for magazine, stock/end cap, handguard, and optics mount. In conjunction with extensive accessory options, the SP5K is a weapon system that is up to date. In addition to a quick-release optics mount with a Pica profile, a handguard with the new HKey keyhole interface for accessories is just as self-evident as a stock option and the full ambidextrous operation of the weapon. Thus, the SP5K can be universally used both as a pistol and as a shouldered weapon.

Die SP5K ist die halbautomatische Zivilversion der legendären MP5K im Kaliber 9 mm x 19, die in den 1970er Jahren für das verdeckte Tragen im Rahmen des Personenschutzes entwickelt wurde.
Abgesehen von den gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Änderungen im Inneren der Waffe ist die SP5K absolut identisch mit der MP5K, insbesondere die Schnittstellen für Magazin, Schulterstütze/Abschlusskappe, Handschutz und Optikhalter. In Verbindung mit umfangreichen Zubehöroptionen ist die SP5K ein Waffensystem auf der Höhe der Zeit. So ist neben einem Schnellspannoptikhalter mit Pica-Profil auch ein Handschutz mit der neuen HKey-Schlüsselochschnittstelle für Zubehör ebenso selbstverständlich wie eine Schulterstützenoption und die volle beidseitige Bedienbarkeit der Waffe. So kann die SP5K universell sowohl als Pistole als auch als schultergestützte Waffe genutzt werden.
