The shooting device against voles is one of the most effective means to quickly get rid of the annoying rodents from the garden, bed, and property. Easy to use and strong in effect, our vole shooting device is still successful even through several centimeters of soil. Yellow blank cartridges are recommended in caliber 9 x 17 (yellow).
Vole or mole?
The mole is protected under the Federal Nature Conservation Act. Only in exceptional cases (such as sports fields, etc.) is control permitted with an exception permit.
Recognizing vole infestation in 4 steps:
1. Check earth mounds: they must be elongated and flat
2. Check tunnel depth: they are relatively straight and close to the surface
3. Check tunnel diameter: they are oval, about 7-9 cm high and 5 cm wide
4. Still unclear? Conduct a disturbance test: an opened tunnel will close again in 2-5 hours
Really that bad?
The common vole (also known as field mouse, earth mouse, or earth rat) has a reproduction rate of 1:10. This means that if you have an infestation on your property, the number of rodents will increase tenfold in one year. It is therefore not to be underestimated how quickly a single mound can multiply.
Setting up the shooting trap in 5 steps:
1. Minimize personal scent: wear gloves and rub with local soil
2. Locate a straight tunnel: about 10-20 cm long using a stick
3. Dig a hole: should be slightly deeper than the tunnel to avoid non-triggering
4. Secure the shooting trap with the red lever and load with cartridge
5. Place the trap in the direction of the tunnel and press it firmly with soil, then deactivate the safety

Das Schussgerät gegen Wühlmäuse gehören zu den wirkungsvollsten Mitteln, um die lästigen Nager schnell aus dem Garten, Beet und Grundstück zu bekommen. Einfach im Gebrauch und stark in der Wirkung ist unser Wühlmausschussgerät selbst durch mehrere Zentimeter Erdreich noch erfolgreich. Platzpatronen gelb wird empfohlen Kaliber 9 x 17 (gelb) bei.
Wühlmaus oder Maulwurf?
Der Maulwurf ist nach Bundesartenschutzverordnung geschützt. Lediglich in Ausnahmefällen (bei Sportplätzen o.ä) ist eine Bekämpfung mit Ausnahmegenehmigung gestattet.
In 4 Schritten Wühlmausbefall erkennen:
1. Erdhaufen sichten: müssen länglich und flach sein
2. Gangtiefe prüfen: sind relativ gerade und nahe der Oberfläche
3. Gangdurchmesser prüfen: sind oval, ca. 7-9cm hoch und 5cm breit
4. Immer noch unklar? Verwühlprobe machen: ein geöffneter Gang ist in 2-5 Stunden wieder zu
Wirklich so schlimm?
Die große Wühlmaus (auch Schermaus, Erdmaus, Erdratte) hat eine Vermehrungsrate von 1:10. Das heißt, wenn Sie einen Befall auf dem Grundstück haben, wird sich die Anzahl der Nager um das zehnfache in einem Jahr erhöhen. Es ist also nicht zu unterschätzen wie schnell sich ein einzelner Hügel vervielfältigen kann.
In 5 Schritten Schussfalle einsetzen:
1. Eigengeruch minimieren: Handschuhe tragen und mit Erde vor Ort einreiben
2. geraden Tunnel ausfindig machen: ca. 10-20cm lang mittels Stock
3. Loch graben: sollte etwas tiefer als der Gang sein, vermeidet Nichtauslösen
4. Schussfalle mit dem roten Bügel sichern und mit Kartusche laden
5. Falle in Gangrichtung einsetzen und mit Erde festdrücken, danach entsichern
Wir empfehlen ein Hinweisschild und gegebenenfalls eine Abdeckung wie einen Korb oder Eimer in der Nähe von Haustieren.
