GECO ACTION EXTREME – Handgun ammunition with unmatched stopping power
Fürth, Germany. GECO has announced the introduction of new cartridges for pistols: ACTION EXTREME. The new cartridge meets the requirements and standards expected from modern ammunition for hunting and self-defense: excellent expansion behavior, high penetration depth, and high retained weight. The new GECO ammunition meets these requirements – you can rely on ACTION EXTREME for hunting and in case of self-defense.
GECO ACTION EXTREME is a 9mm projectile that expands reliably and has very high penetration power. The energy is fully transferred to the target, and the stopping effect is excellent. ACTION EXTREME is very versatile. The cartridge can be used in carbines with pistol calibers as well as in full-size and even subcompact pistols. You can rely on the new ACTION EXTREME for your personal protection.
The key features of GECO ACTION EXTREME:
- **Consistency**: Uniform penetration, averaging about 28 cm. Very consistent expansion to 23 mm across the entire velocity range from 329 to 420 m/s. Extremely uniform penetration and expansion in gelatin and Clear Ballistics blocks.
- **Stopping power through 4 "flags"**: Rapid expansion with extreme expansion of the front area thanks to the four "flags". They guarantee complete energy transfer with a well-defined wound channel and 100% retained weight.
- **Function over everything**: Reliable feeding into the chamber thanks to the rounded bullet tip. Improved ballistic performance with minimal velocity loss due to the aerodynamic shape of the bullet. The closed design ensures that no material enters the hollow point. This way, the bullet retains its expansion properties.
- **All-purpose ammunition for the areas**: Home Defense – Self-defense – Hunting. Suitable for all barrel lengths: The new cartridge always has the same performance values in the target – whether used in full-size, compact, or subcompact pistols.
