Later, there were economic problems and the company came under the ownership of Hertel & Reuss. From this source, spare parts were still available until the mid-1980s, but probably no new binoculars anymore. CBS products are of high quality and very expensive. Später gab es wirtschaftliche Probleme und die Firma ging in den Besitz von Hertel & Reuss über. Aus dieser Quelle gab es bis zur Mitte der neunzehnachtziger Jahre noch Ersatzteile, aber wohl keine neuen Ferngläser mehr. CBS Produkte sind hochwertig Verarbeitet und sehr hochpreisig.
