Jest to jedna z kilku odmian takich pomniejszonych pistoletów produkowana w różnych kalibrach i w nieco różniących się między sobą wariantach, zwanych "serią 80". Były to m.in. modele 81,82, 83, 86, 87, 89, 85BB, 84BB. W roku 1995 nadano tej całej serii nazwę "Cheetah".
