Der Reduktionsring wurde aus solidem Luftfahrtaluminium angefertigt und besitzt ein Außengewinde von M52 x 0,75 mm.
Blitzschnell wird in das Bajonettsystem des Thunder eingerastet und anschließend mit der Mutter verschraubt. Der Klemmadapter wiederum schraubt in das M52 Gewinde des Reduktionsrings. Die passende Größe des Klemmadapters wird durch den Außendurchmesser des Okulars Ihres Zielfernrohrs (nicht durch die Objektivgröße) bestimmt.
