Le Powertail Slow de Fiiish est un leurre coulant à nageoire caudale en mouvement permanent, dans sa version en résine, la plus lente de la gamme. Il imite un alevin en fuite et s'adresse notamment à la truite. Ces noms renseignent sur le rythme de récupération qui fait bien travailler le leurre : un modèle en plomb impose une récupération plus rapide pour ne pas toucher le fond trop vite. La version Slow, la plus légère, est faite pour une récupération lente et pour les eaux peu profondes ou les postes où le leurre doit rester longtemps dans la couche d'eau. On peut alterner phases de récupération et descentes contrôlées, puisque le leurre continue de nager quand il coule. En pêche de la truite, ce type de leurre se lance en amont ou en travers du courant et se ramène en gardant le contact, en adaptant la vitesse au débit.
