Le choke Browning Invector-Plus calibre 12 en constriction 3/4 (Improved Modified) est un tube affleurant destiné aux canons Browning équipés du système Invector-Plus.
Plus long qu’un tube Invector d’origine, il présente un profil conique allongé qui guide la gerbe plus progressivement. Ce dessin a été développé pour les canons Back-Bored de Browning, dont l’âme est volontairement élargie. Le tube se loge entièrement dans le canon et ne dépasse pas de la bouche. Les constrictions sont réglées sur les normes de l’industrie.
À quelle distance ?
Browning donne des repères pour ses chokes Invector-Plus : cylindrique vers 15 m, 1/4 vers 20 m, 1/2 vers 25 m et 3/4 vers 30 m. Pour ce tube, la distance indicative est donc environ 30 m, à ajuster selon le gibier ou la cible et la cartouche.
Compatibilité et repérage
Il ne convient qu’aux fusils calibre 12 marqués « Invector Plus » sur le canon ou le monobloc, jamais à un fusil Invector Standard ou Invector-DS. Sur le rebord, deux encoches permettent d’identifier la constriction d’un coup d’œil.
