Il représentait près de 40% des munitions de l’artillerie et l’une des pièces les plus importantes du conflit. Le «Napoléon» était largement admiré pour sa sécurité, sa fiabilité et son efficacité, surtout à courte distance. Guerre civile ou guerre civile a été un événement très important dans l’histoire des États-Unis d’Amérique, qui a eu lieu entre 1861 et 1865. Les deux côtés opposés étaient les forces des États du Nord (l’Union) contre la nouvelle formé États confédérés d’Amérique, intégré par onze États du Sud, qui a proclamé son indépendance.
