Böker Schweizer Dolch. Der Schweizer Dolch war eine gängige Waffe der Schweizer Pikeniere im 15. und 16. Jahrhundert, der aufgrund seiner Klingenlänge oftmals eine Mittelstellung zwischen Dolch und Schwert einnahm. Der auch als Baselard bekannte Dolch wurde für gewöhnlich nicht als Ausrüstungsgegenstand ausgegeben, sondern musste privat von den Soldaten beschafft werden und dienten dann als Sekundärwaffe.Charakteristisch für den Schweizer Dolch ist die Gestaltung von Handschutz und Abschlussknauf. Die außergewöhnliche, gekrümmte Formgebung kann bis in das frühe 13. Jahrhundert zurückverfolgt werden und lässt sich auch in der authentischen Formgebung der von uns in Handarbeit gefertigten Neuauflage wiederfinden. Für die Griffschalen des Dolches wird handverlesenes heinisches Kirschholz verarbeitet, das sich insbesondere wegen seiner rötlichen Farbe bereits seit der Antike großer Beliebtheit erfreut.Die beidseitig geschärfte und spitz zulaufende Dolchklinge wies schon bei historischen Modellen einen Querschnitt in Form eines Diamanten auf, denn diese Konstruktion erwies sich als äußerst stabil und effektiv. Sie wird aus dem klassischen Kohlenstoffstahl C75 gefertigt und beeindruckt schon allein aufgrund ihrer Länge.
