An dem neuen „Pirschler“-Fernglas findet sich (die Stativschutzkappe und Armierung ausgenommen)
kein Gramm Kunststoff, weder am Körper selbst noch an Verschleißteilen.
Körper und Brücke sind aus einer ultraharten, aber extrem leichten Magnesiumlegierung aus dem Flugzeugbau
und machen das Fernglas nahezu unzerbrechlich.
Zusätzlicher Vorteil: Das Magnesium senkt das Gesamtgewicht.
Der Diopter (Verstellbereich +/-4) befindet sich wegen der besseren Funktionalität
nicht mehr am Fokussierrad, sondern am rechten Okular.
All diese Bedienungselemente – Diopter, Okular, Fokussierrad – bestehen aus Duraluminium und
sind damit Garant für eine große Langzeitbelastung.
Damit wird das einhändige Greifen und Halten dieses kompakten Fernglases auch mit Handschuhen
angenehm komfortabel und sicher.
Auch für Brillenträger geeignet.
Denn die in 3 Positionen der ein- und ausdrehbaren Augenmuscheln aus Metall
sorgen für einen perfekten Augenabstand.
Die Verstellung dabei ist hartgängig, solide und funktioniert absolut ohne jedes Spiel.
Die zum Vorgängermodell deutlich verbesserte Qualität der Augenmuschelmechanik
ist spürbar durch einen angemessenen haptischen Widerstand und durch die klar
definierte Rastung der Zwischenstufen (kein Klappern, kein Spiel, kein versehentliches Verstellen).
Zum anderen zeichnet sich das „Pirschler“-Fernglas im Vergleich zu anderen Ferngläsern
dieser Klasse durch einen größeren Abstand der Austrittspupille aus (20 mm).
