Die patentierte Arisaka Offset Optic Mount ist eine modulare Montagelösung, die es dem Benutzer ermöglicht, ohne zusätzliche Komponenten eine 35- oder 45-Grad-Offset-Position für sein Rotpunktvisier auszuwählen. Die 35-Grad-Position bringt das Leuchtpunktvisier näher an schmalere, kleinere Zielfernrohre heran, während die 45-Grad-Position zusätzlichen Freiraum um breitere Türme bietet.
Die Halterung wird auf 35 oder 45 Grad eingestellt, indem der Schaft während der Montage zwischen Optikplatte und Basis umgedreht wird. Die einzigartige Geometrie der Halterung richtet die Optik korrekt vertikal über der Bohrung aus und behält eine konstante Höhe bei 35 und 45 Grad bei.
Es werden zwei Plattenhöhen angeboten; Standard (1.5" bis 1.8") und groß (1.9" bis 2.2"). Die Basis- und Optikplatten können umgedreht werden, wodurch die Montage vollständig beidhändig ist. Es wird empfohlen, die Plattenhöhe entsprechend der Primäroptikhöhe zu wählen. Wenn das Zielfernrohr beispielsweise in einer 1.54 Zoll Höhenhalterung montiert ist, wird die normale Höhenplatte für das Red Dot benötigt. Dies gewährleistet eine konsistente Wangenauflage und einen nahtlosen Übergang zwischen der Primäroptik und dem versetzten Red Dot.
