Tutti i Proof-Positive Bore Stix sono dotati di una punta sostituibile, sicura per la canna, non in ottone, nota anche come "adattatore". Assicuratevi di scegliere la punta corretta, poiché gli adattatori Proof-Positive e Brass non sono compatibili tra le linee Bore Stix e V-Stix.
La confezione contiene 1 adattatore per confezione con passo di filettatura 8/32.
Rimozione/Installazione:
1. Utilizzando una piccola fonte di calore come un accendino, tenere la fiamma al centro dell'adattatore per circa 15-20 secondi per rilasciare il Loctite rosso.
2. Tenendo il corpo dell'asta di pulizia con una mano, svitare con cautela l'adattatore rotto.
SUGGERIMENTO: se si deve afferrare il corpo dell'asta con una pinza o una morsa, assicurarsi di imbottire le ganasce per non danneggiare il rivestimento dell'asta. Tenere presente che l'adattatore originale potrebbe essere caldo al tatto.
3. Pulire le filettature del corpo dell'asta e applicare 1 goccia di Loctite rossa.
4. Installare il nuovo adattatore e lasciarlo riposare per circa 10 minuti.
