Account locked or access denied: what to do?
If your account on Gunfinder was blocked or access denied, there can be various reasons. Here we explain the most common ones – and what you can do.
Possible Reasons for a Suspension
The safety of our users and the integrity of the platform are top priorities. Accounts can be suspended, among other reasons, for:
- Violations of the Terms of Use: such as selling prohibited items, misleading or false information, or fraudulent activities.
- Suspicious Activities: such as unusual login attempts from different locations in a short time or an unusually high number of transactions in a short period.
- Unpaid Fees: outstanding fees incurred on the platform.
- Abuse of the Platform: such as spam or harassment of other users.
Blocking Due to Security Concerns
In some cases, we block accounts due to specific security concerns, for example:
- Suspicious Behavior: unusual activities that could indicate abuse or fraudulent intentions.
- Concealment of Identity: the use of VPNs, proxy servers, or similar technologies.
- Doubts About the Authenticity of Identity: if your information could not be clearly verified.
What you can do now
A ban is not the end: Contact our support at [email protected] so we can manually review your case. Please have all relevant screenshots of the error messages ready. Our team will help you restore your account – if possible.
Technical Causes
Often the cause is that users connect via a VPN, proxy, or a provider classified as a data center. Our security system blocks such connections because they are often used for fraudulent activities. Instead, use your normal internet connection at home or the mobile network – then the login should work.
Occasionally, smaller regional providers are mistakenly blocked. If you are sure you are not using any of the mentioned connections, let us know – we will then review your account again.
