L’N550 è di tipo tubolare in polvere con granulometrie simmetriche di lunghezza 1,0 mm e diametro 1,0 mm. Come per tutte le nostre polveri della serie N500, la nitroglicerina è stata aggiunta alla tradizionale polvere a base singola per ottenere un migliore contenuto energetico. La velocità di combustione dell’N550 è simile a quella della polvere del fucile N150 ed è sulla scala media delle nostre polveri ad alta energia. Una velocità maggiore viene acquisita con la stessa pressione rispetto alla serie N100 – senza una maggiore usura del fucile!
