Spuhr SP-3026 · 30 mm · 70 mm Cantilever
A lot of forward offset with a low 32 mm axis line The SP-3026 is not a general 30 mm mount but a specialist for AR setups where the scope needs to be clearly forward, but the entire clamping must remain on the rigid receiver.
Important before buying: 30 mm main tube, 32 mm axis height, 70 mm forward offset, and 0 MOA must all fit together with the optic, stock, and eye relief. This model explicitly does not have an integrated bubble level.
Our honest assessment
The long cantilever solves a real geometry problem: On short receiver rails, some optics don’t have enough space to achieve the correct eye relief. The SP-3026 shifts the ring position up to 70 mm forward without distributing the base over the receiver and handguard.
At the same time, it is deliberately low at 32 mm. This can support a firm cheek weld but does not automatically fit with a high cheek rest, safety glasses, hearing protection, or a deliberately upright head position.
Fits well if … … your 30 mm scope needs to be clearly forward on an AR receiver and a low head position is ergonomically suitable.
… you want a fixed, screwed mount without QD function and without additional forward tilt.
Fits less if … … you want more hei
e, quick release, integrated bubble level, or extra height reserve through forward tilt.
… the scope only has short straight clamping zones or an extended TPAL-/EREK-turret housing.
Features and Practical Effect
70 mm Cantilever Creates an exceptionally large range for eye relief without having to place a clamp point on the handguard.
32 mm Axis Height A low line for a flat cheek weld. Ergonomics and operating space must be realistically checked with stock, eyepiece, and bolt handle.
0 MOA Neutral angle without additional forward tilt. The mount does not shift the internal elevation adjustment range towards long distances.
Fixed Picatinny-/STANAG-Clamping For permanently set-up systems. Those who frequently remove the mount without tools should compare a QDP version.
Seven Spuhr Interfaces Allow approved accessories on the mount body. Screw length and exact position must fit the respective interface.
No Integrated Bubble Level This low-profile special version lacks the otherwise common Spuhr spirit level. Canting control must be solved separately if needed.
Limits, Disadvantages, and Typical Misbuys
The most common misbuy: ordering because of the long cantilever, although your own scope already achieves the eye relief with a shorter mount. Additional cantilever then brings no ergonomic advantage.
Equally important: 30 mm only describes the tube diameter. The fixed ring positions require sufficiently long straight clamping surfaces. Spuhr excludes extended TPAL-/EREK-housings for this special version. Also, the low 32 mm line can leave too little operating space with large eyepieces, throw lever, or high cheek rest.
Technical Data with Practical Interpretation
Main Tube 30 mm. Additionally, length and position of the straight clamping surfaces must fit.
Axis Height 32 mm above rail – low, ergonomically not universal.
Forward Tilt 0 MIL / 0 MOA – neutral, no additional long-range reserve.
Cantilever 70 mm – the central purchase reason for this mount.
Length / Weight 140 mm / approx. 223 g according to available product data.
Material 7075-T651 aluminium, hard anodized according to available manufacturer data.
Rail Clamping Picatinny / STANAG, fixed screwed; no quick release lever.
Torque Rail Clamping 5 Nm; ring screws max. 2.0 Nm or lower scope manufacturer value.
Scope of Delivery
1 × Spuhr SP-3026 Cantilever Mount, 1 × 10-degree leveling wedge, and manufacturer’s manual. Rifle scope, firearm, torque tool, external bubble level, and other interface accessories are not included.
Safe and Clean Mounting
Do Not Bridge Receiver The entire rail clamping must be on the same rigid receiver. The cantilever brings the rings forward; it is precisely designed to avoid bridging to the handguard.
Eye Relief First Position the scope with real stock length and ideally high magnification. Only then finalize ring rotation and screws.
FAQ
What are 70 mm cantilever mounts for? For setups where the correct eye relief would otherwise be outside the short receiver rail. The base still remains fully on the receiver.
Is the mount tilted? No. 0 MOA means neutral; the mount adds no additional forward tilt.
Does the SP-3026 have a bubble level? No. If needed, a compatible external solution must be added.
Does every 30 mm scope fit? No. Straight clamping zones and turret housing must fit the fixed ring positions; extended TPAL-/EREK-housings are excluded.
Black Raptor · Avoid Misbuys
The SP-3026 is strong when 70 mm cantilever and 32 mm axis height are really needed. If you’re just looking for “a high-quality 30 mm Spuhr,” first check height, eye relief, and ring zones – that’s exactly where it decides if this special model fits.

Spuhr SP-3026 · 30 mm · 70 mm Cantilever
Feste Picatinny-/STANAG-Klemmung Für dauerhaft eingerichtete Systeme.

Black Raptor · Fehlkauf vermeiden
