.br-product summary{font-weight:600;cursor:pointer;}
GRS Loke is a ambidextrous competition stock made of birch laminate for PRS, NRL, and Long Range. The stock is designed for shooters who want linear recoil, an almost vertical grip geometry, and prepared Arca/Spigot retrofit in a laminate stock.
Changing the stock alters contact surfaces, cheek weld, recoil transfer, and often the position of the scope to the eye. Therefore, the selection does not start with color or material, but with the exact system inletting. Only then are ergonomics, weight, and support interfaces evaluated.
What is GRS Loke?
Product classification: Stock system. Only properly inletted variants are ready to use after professional installation; blank versions are machining blanks.
System chain: Weapon/system → precisely chosen Loke inletting → bedding/mounting → optional Arca/Spigot → stock fitting → re-zeroing.
Variant logic: Manufacturer: Blank, Remington, Bergara, Tikka, HOWA; Model: -, 700 BDL LA, 700 LA Clone M5, B14 LA HMR, 700 BDL SA, T3/T3X/T1X, 700 SA Clone M5, 1500 SA, B14 SA HMR; Color: Nordic Wolf. Only the actually created combinations in the variant selector are valid; manufacturer and model names must not be freely combined.
How to read the correct stock variant
Manufacturer refers to the weapon or system family, model to the specific inletting, and color exclusively to the visual design. A model designation like T3/T3X, B14, 700, or R8 alone is not enough if system length, magazine version, bolt release position, or handedness are also distinguished.
SA and LA stand for different system lengths. LH/RH or left-/right-hand system change ejection port, bolt travel, and often the inletting. Details like HMR, CTR, M5 Bottom Metal, BDL, or Clone are not marketing additions but can define magazine and bottom metal geometry.
For an existing weapon, check the type plate, manufacturer documents, and actual underside together. Modifications to the bottom metal or magazine can mean that the current configuration, not the original factory designation, is decisive. If your combination is not exactly selectable, do not choose another model or system length as a substitute.
"Blank" or "-" does not describe a universal drop-in stock. It is a version for professional inletting. Always check SKU and color variant before any machining, as machined stocks generally cannot be treated as unused standard goods anymore.
Why this GRS model?
GRS Loke combines ambidextrous grip contours, SpeedLock, height-adjustable stock cap, Arca pre-drilling, Spigot preparation, and 59-mm fore-end. This stock solves a specific task: cheek, shoulder, and trigger hand are reproducibly positioned relative to the scope and weapon axis.
The adjustment does not automatically make the stock fit. If the system inletting is wrong, recoil does not rest on the intended surfaces or screws do not achieve correct preload. Blank variants intentionally lack exactly these machined counter surfaces.
lich.
Base material and construction: birch laminate
Adjustable stock length: 35.5–37.5 cm
Dimensions for setup planning: 85 cm overall length and 59 mm fore-end width
Stock weight: approx. 1.8 kg, depending on system milling
Ergonomics and interfaces: ambidextrous grip contours, SpeedLock, height-adjustable stock cap, Arca pre-drilling, Spigot preparation, and 59 mm fore-end
Typical use scenarios
PRS/NRL barricades: The 59 mm fore-end and prepared Arca upgrade create wide or adjustable contact points. Arca rail and clamp must fit as a system for stage equipment.
Recoil observation: Straight recoil line, nearly vertical grip, and height-adjustable stock cap are designed for a steady position behind the rifle. This guarantees no hit observation; setup, caliber, muzzle device, and shooting technique remain decisive.
Tripod and bipod: Loke is prepared for Arca and GRS Spigot but does not automatically include these components. The 1.8 kg stock mass supports stability but significantly increases transport weight compared to Hunter Light or Sporter.
What a stock change technically alters
The system rests on different contact surfaces in the new stock than before. Recoil is transmitted via recoil lugs, bedding, or defined contact surfaces into the stock. If this connection is clamped or only point-contact, function and point of impact can change. A high-quality optic or high screw torque does not compensate for incorrect milling.
The magazine area is part of the fit. The magazine must lock in, cartridge feed and bolt travel must function without contact to the stock, and bottom metal or trigger guard must not be deformed by screw preload. For chassis and clone systems, the magazine standard is as important as the action designation.
The barrel channel is checked along the entire relevant length. If the design calls for a free-floating barrel, neither the fore-end nor an overly long accessory screw may touch the barrel. Only after this mechanical check are cheekpiece, stock cap, and optic ergonomically adjusted.
A new stock can facilitate a more repeatable body position but does not alone produce smaller groups. Ammunition, barrel, system, mounting, optic, and shooting technique remain part of the same precision chain. The real advantage is geometry the shooter can find again in every relevant position.
Our assessment
GRS Loke fits PRS, NRL, and long-range shooters with changing barricade, bipod, and tripod positions. Its strength lies in the combination of confirmed weapon fit and the ergonomics intended for this model, not in the longest possible feature list.
Do not buy if you need the lowest hunting weight, compact dimensions, or a ready-to-use full chassis with integrated M-LOK and folding mechanism. Also unsuitable is any variant whose system designation, system length, handedness, or inlet does not exactly match your own weapon.
Black-Raptor short summary: Buy if: weapon platform, system length, handedness, magazine/bottom metal configuration, and desired stock function fit the selected variant. Do not buy if: you expect a drop-in mount from a blank version or cannot clearly find the specific weapon variant in the selector.
Product-specific practical tips
Practical tip: Do not confuse Arca preparation with Arca rail The Loke is prepared for upgrade, but the complete Arca rail is not automatically included with the stock. Drill pattern, screw length, and clamp standard must match the chosen rail; a screw must not reach the barrel channel.
Practical tip: Center the 59 mm fore-end on barricades The wide underside creates a lot of contact f
cheek, when it rests flat on a bag or barricade. Setting it sideways on just one edge makes the stock unstable despite its width; the weapon balance is created in front of the body pressure.
Practical tip: Consider 1.8 kg stock weight in the transport concept The additional stability of a competition stock is truly felt over longer distances. Plan the total weight with optics, muzzle device, Arca and bipod, and position the sling so the rifle doesn’t constantly pull forward.
Practical tip: Set ambidextrous contours consciously symmetrical Adjust cheek, buttplate and grip pressure so the shooting side remains reproducible without forcing the opposite contour as a stop. Document changes in height or LOP individually; multiple simultaneous adjustments obscure the cause of an unstable head position.
Fit, bedding and mounting
Glass bedding is recommended by the manufacturer; blank and clone versions require special fit testing. Before mounting, unload the weapon completely and separate the action and old stock according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The recoil system, screw channels, magazine area and barrel clearance must fit together without tension.
A free-floating barrel must not be touched by the fore-end, accessory screw or pressure from a misfitting action unit, provided the weapon/stock design allows a free barrel. Magazine and bolt must function in all intended states. Proper bedding corrects defined contact surfaces; it is not a means to make a bad cutout fit.
Set ergonomics correctly
The order is stock length, cheek height, buttplate height/angle, and only then optic position. Start with the most common shooting position, then check prone, sitting and standing. The cheek rest should provide reproducible contact without pushing the head out of its natural axis.
With thick hunting clothing, the effectively needed stock length shortens. For summer and winter setups, a documented SpeedLock position is worthwhile. Buttplate and cheek are not decorative adjusters: every change affects head position, recoil line and access to bolt or safety.
Scope of delivery and additionally required parts
Confirmed model scope of delivery: Loke stock, two QD sling swivels, manual and GRS decals according to manufacturer specifications. The specific shop variant may include system-related parts; the decisive factor remains the stated scope of delivery of the chosen SKU.
Not automatically included: weapon, action, barrel, magazine, bottom metal, trigger, optic, mount, bipod, Arca/Picatinny/M-LOK accessories, bedding material and mounting tools, unless explicitly stated.
Comparison and suitable alternatives: Loke is the heavy laminate competition stock of the series. Sporter remains the lighter hunting/range all-rounder; Ragnarok 2.0 offers integrated Arca, M-LOK and folding mechanism as an aluminum chassis.

Material and care
Keep laminate surface and pre-drilled accessory points dry. Mount Arca or spigot parts only with the approved screw length so neither barrel nor action bedding is touched.
After each conversion, visually inspect recoil system, action screws, adjusters and accessory points. Have damaged threads, cracks, play in the folding mechanism or migrating SpeedLock parts professionally checked before further use.
Check after mounting
With the fully unloaded action, first check safety, trigger, bolt, magazine catch and, if applicable, folding joint. Then insert and remove an empty magazine, slowly cycle the bolt through its entire path and check whether stock or accessories touch moving parts.
Before the first shooting session, mark or note settings: LOP, cheek height, buttplate position and accessorie
örnut. After the first series of shots, check system screws and control markings without preemptively tightening beyond the manufacturer’s specifications. Then confirm zero and, if needed, magazine/feed function with the intended ammunition.
GRS Loke is only considered a complete setup when mechanical fit, operability, ergonomic position, and zero all align. Leaving one of these aspects open just shifts troubleshooting to the shooting range.

GRS Loke Wettkampf-Schaftsystem
