34 mm · 2″ Offset · 36.57 mm Center Height
Vortex Pro Extended Cantilever Mount 34 mm
The 34 mm version is made for modern scopes with a 34 mm main tube. It sets the optic 2 inches forward; the center of the tube is 1.44″ or about 36.57 mm above the base.
6061 Aluminum, Type-2 Low-Glare
Picatinny compatible
2″ Offset
15–18 in-lbs ring caps, 30 in-lbs base
Product Quick Check
For which optic?
Exactly 34 mm main tube. 30 mm and 1″ are not compatible.
Why Cantilever?
Forward offset when classic ring positions don’t properly solve eye relief.
Why no 20 MOA?
This Pro version is the straight standard solution. For planned distance reserve, there is the Precision 20 MOA mount.
Height Check
Match 36.57 mm centerline with stock, objective clearance, and cheek rest.
What the tech means in practice
34 mm scopes are often larger and heavier. This makes mounting geometry especially important: a mechanically solid setup can still be ergonomically wrong if the head position doesn’t match the sight line.
The Pro Extended 34 mm deliberately has no specified forward tilt. This makes sense if the internal elevation adjustment of the optic is sufficient and you don’t need a 20 MOA base. The 2″ offset serves exclusively for positioning eye relief and rail use.
Buy if …
Your optic is exactly 34 mm, you use Picatinny, and want a straight one-piece mount with 2″ forward offset.
Don’t buy if …
You need 20 MOA forward tilt, a different centerline, or 1″/30 mm tube diameter.
Technical Data
Tube diameter: 34 mm
Center Scope Height: 1.44″ / 36.57 mm
Offset: 2″
Material: 6061 Aluminum
Finish: Type-2 Low-Glare Matte Black
Rail: Picatinny
Ring caps: 15–18 in-lbs
Base: 30 in-lbs
Practical Tip For heavy 34 mm optics, do a dry run: check eye relief, cheek contact, and objective clearance, then align the reticle and only finally tighten stepwise to manufacturer specs.
Comparison
Pro 34 mm vs. Precision 34 mm 20 MOA: Pro: 6061, 36.57 mm centerline, straight. Precision: 7075-T6, 40 mm centerline, 20 MOA forward tilt.
Pro vs. Sport 34 mm: Sport sits with
38.1 mm slightly higher and is significantly lighter at around 153 g.
Important limit 34 mm rings must not be clamped onto 30 mm or 1″ tubes. Shims or improvised spacers are not a clean solution.

34 mm · 2″ Offset · Picatinny

Black Raptor · Einordnung
