Important before buying: According to the manufacturer, the sight line is 36 mm above the rail. This height must match your front sight and the rest of your setup.
Our honest assessment
The TLURS55 makes sense if you need a defined mechanical backup on a Picatinny rail and want a classic AR15 centerline height. It is not a universal rear sight for arbitrary heights or offset rails.
The combination of 6061-T6 aluminum and steel, manual locking, and a low folded profile is built to be robust, but it does not replace checking the height against your front sight.
