Petromax silicone coaster for Petromax HK500 – for safety, distance and clean drainage in the Petromax setup
The Petromax HK500 pressure lantern produces impressively bright light – at the same time, noticeable heat is generated. The Petromax silicone coaster for the HK500 ensures the lantern stands securely and protects sensitive surfaces.
The heat-resistant coaster made of durable silicone provides a stable base for the lantern. Especially when used in camp, on wooden tables, or when cooking in the outdoor kitchen, it prevents heat from being transferred directly to the surface.
This makes the HK500 not only safer to place but also significantly more versatile in use – whether in camp, on the terrace, or cooking at night by the campfire.
Why this product?
Especially in outdoor setups, distance, protection, and cleaning are no minor matters. They determine whether equipment lasts long and the cooking area stays safe.
more control when handling hot materials
better organization during transport or storage
less wear from improper use
Practical tip: choose accessories based on the setup
Ask yourself: Where does it get hot? Where does dirt occur? Where is distance missing? That’s exactly where accessories are most worthwhile.
Key features

heat-resistant material

non-slip base for the lantern
compact and robust design
ideal for camping, outdoor kitchen, and terrace
Our assessment (practical added value)
The HK500 generates a lot of heat during operation – especially at the tank and underside. If the lantern is placed directly on sensitive surfaces, heat can transfer.
A silicone coaster acts here like an insulating barrier. It not only prevents heat damage but also provides a more stable base for the lantern – especially on smooth tables or outdoor furniture.
Many HK500 users keep the coaster permanently in camp because it allows the lantern to be used flexibly on various surfaces.
Tips from outdoor practice
Always operate the lantern on a stable surface
Even with the coaster, the HK500 should always stand on a firm, stable base.
Keep the coaster handy in camp
Especially when moving the lantern in the dark, a firm stand is particularly important.
Also usable as general heat protection
The silicone coaster can also be used for other hot outdoor items.
