VictOptics SCCON-S4 – more control on the parallax turret
Large lever, finer movement. The lightweight aluminum wheel is placed on the side parallax turret and makes its position quicker to see and easier to dose.
Short verdict: Useful, affordable control upgrade if your S4 turret actually fits the 35 mm mount. No precision gain on its own: The wheel only makes operation easier; you still have to focus correctly and check parallax yourself.
Fits you – or not?
Fits: for users of compatible VictOptics S4 scopes who often work at changing distances.
Does not fit: if diameter, turret shape or clearance do not match exactly. “S4” in the product name alone does not replace measuring.
Practical check
The manufacturer assigns the wheel to the S4 models 4–16×44 MDL and 6–24×50 MDL. The mount is specified as 35 mm and clamped with a rubber sleeve. Check turret diameter and distance to mount, action and neighboring controls before purchase. After mounting, the turret must move freely over the entire range.
Honest limit: On a tight setup, the 100 mm wheel can hit. The “10 mm / 4.0 inch” specification visible on some manufacturer pages is obviously contradictory; 4.0 inches correspond to about 100 mm. We therefore use 100 mm and explicitly mark the measuring check.

Does the wheel fit every VictOptics S4? Not generally. The manufacturer names specific S4 references; decisive remain 35 mm mount, turret shape and clearance. Does it improve optical performance? No. It enlarges the control lever and facilitates fine adjustments but does not change the glass or mechanics of the scope. Why does the shop weight differ? 40 g is the manufacturer’s specification for the product. The stored shipping weight may include packaging or old stock and was therefore not au
