When the right light color matters in the field, not just brightness
The NEXTORCH T53 mechanically swings white, green, or red LEDs into the center of the reflector. This creates a clean, focused beam for each color – without attachable color filters.

Our honest assessment
The T53 set is a specialized multi-color flashlight for the field, observation, and demanding outdoor tasks. White provides the highest detail performance, green and red change contrast and self-glare. That’s practical – but no guarantee that game won’t notice or react to a color.
Legally especially important
The set includes RM85S mount and cable switch. In Germany, certain aiming illumination and marking devices for firearms are generally prohibited under weapons law. Acquisition, possession, intended use, and application must be legally clarified in advance. This description is not an approval for firearm mounting.

What the three light sources practically change
White · 760 lm · 220 m The strongest option for orientation and detail recognition. The ANSI range is a comparative value up to 0.25 lux, not a guaranteed identification distance.
Green · 129 lm · 160 m Green can subjectively display contrasts clearly. Brightness and usable range remain lower than white.
Red · 109 lm · 122 m Red can disturb your dark adaptation less. The wavelength is stated by the manufacturer as 620–630 nm.
Mechanical color change The selected LED is always located in the reflector center. This avoids loose filters and maintains a focused light beam.
Trainer and user tips
Test real distance: Light range, visibility, and glare depend on weather, background, and battery level.
Don’t confuse color with camouflage: Species, habituation, and situation influence every reaction.
Handle energy properly: Use CR123A only as matching pairs and never recharge primary cells.
Check switch: Secure cables and pressure switches against pull, crushing, and accidental activation only in legally permitted setups.
Check after moisture: Keep threads and seals clean; the current German manufacturer page states IPX4.
T53 or T5G?
The T53 is the choice for three colors including red. The T5G offers only white and green according to the manufacturer comparison, but with higher white and green output. If you don’t need red and prioritize maximum output, consider the T5G; if you want flexible switching between three colors, the T53 is clearly the better option.

Safety, care, and legal use
Do not shine directly into eyes. Follow instructions before charging and battery replacement, discard damaged cells, and do not mix different CR123A. IPX4 means splash protection, not submersion. Hunting law regulations of the federal state and firearms law purpose must be checked separately.
Frequently asked questions
Do all three colors shine with 760 lumens? No. White reaches 760 lumens, green 129 lumens, and red 109 lumens.
Is the RM85S mount allowed privately on a firearm? There is no general approval. Target illumination intended for firearms is generally prohibited in Germany; a current legal individual case review is required before acquisition, possession, or use.
Is red light invisible to game? No. Reactions depend on species, situation, habituation, and distance and are not guaranteed.
What do the 220 meters range mean? This is a standardized ANSI range up to an illumination of 0.25 lux, not automatically the safe recognition distance.
Can I alternatively use CR123A? Yes, two CR123A are intended. They must be used as matching pairs and must not be recharged as primary cells.
