The Hornady Lock-N-Load OAL Gauge modified cartridge case "A" for 8x57 JS was specially developed for the precise determination of the optimal overall cartridge length (O.A.L.) and the individual seating depth. It serves as a perfectly fitting complement to the Hornady Lock-N-Load O.A.L. Gauge and enables reproducible determination of the bullet distance to the lands of your barrel. The modified case is screwed directly onto the OAL gauge and features a specially prepared case neck with a slightly enlarged inner diameter, allowing the used bullet to be controlled and moved without play. This allows measurements to be carried out with high repeat accuracy and individual loadings to be optimally matched to the respective firearm.
Manufacturing is according to SAAMI specifications and ensures high dimensional accuracy for reliable measurement results.
