In combination with the Hornady Lock-N-Load O.A.L. measuring device, it enables the exact determination of the optimal overall cartridge length (O.A.L.) as well as the individual bullet distance to the lands of the barrel. The modified measuring case is screwed directly onto the Hornady OAL measuring device with thread size A and features a precisely machined case neck with a slightly enlarged inner diameter. This allows the inserted bullet to move in a controlled manner and to exactly reach the transition cone of the barrel. The result is reproducible and reliable measurement results that allow optimal adjustment of the seating depth to the respective weapon.
