Swiss precision meets modern modularity
With the SG561 Sport, SIG Sauer presents a consistent evolution of the legendary SG55X platform. The semi-automatic rifle combines the robust reliability and precision of the Swiss assault rifle system with the advantages and modularity of the globally established AR15 platform.
The heart of the rifle is a free-floating 14.5" barrel with a 1:7" twist, combined with the proven long-stroke gas piston system. The four-position adjustable gas block ensures optimal adaptation to different types of ammunition and operational conditions. The aluminum handguard with full M-LOK interfaces and the continuous Picatinny rail offer maximum flexibility for mounting optics and accessories.
Particularly interesting is the high AR15 compatibility: From the factory, the SG561 comes with a high-quality MAK DRS match trigger, a ambidextrous Radian Talon 45° safety, and an ergonomic AR15 pistol grip. The Magpul CTR stock on a Mil-Spec buffer tube can also be easily replaced with other AR15 stocks.
A special highlight is the interchangeable magazine system. The weapon is delivered with an original Swiss SG55X magazine. Additionally, the AR15 magazine adapter is already mounted, allowing the use of commercially available STANAG magazines. The package also includes an additional Oberland Arms 10-round magazine in green.
The SG561 Sport thus combines the strengths of two proven weapon systems and offers the discerning shooter an extraordinary combination of Swiss manufacturing quality, reliability, and modern ergonomics.

Schweizer Präzision trifft auf moderne Modularität
Mit der SG561 Sport präsentiert SIG Sauer eine konsequente Weiterentwicklung der legendären SG55X-Plattform. Die Selbstladebüchse vereint die robuste Zuverlässigkeit und Präzision des Schweizer Sturmgewehrsystems mit den Vorteilen und der Modularität der weltweit etablierten AR15-Plattform.
Das Herzstück bildet ein freischwingender 14,5-Zoll-Lauf mit 1:7"-Drall, kombiniert mit dem bewährten Long-Stroke-Gaskolbensystem. Die vierfach verstellbare Gasabnahme sorgt für eine optimale Anpassung an unterschiedliche Munitionssorten und Einsatzbedingungen. Der Aluminium-Handschutz mit umlaufenden M-LOK-Schnittstellen sowie die durchgehende Picatinny-Schiene bieten maximale Flexibilität bei der Montage von Optiken und Zubehör.
Besonders interessant ist die hohe AR15-Kompatibilität: Ab Werk verfügt die SG561 über einen hochwertigen MAK DRS Matchabzug, eine beidseitig bedienbare Radian Talon 45°-Sicherung sowie einen ergonomischen AR15-Pistolengriff. Auch der Magpul CTR Schubschaft auf Mil-Spec Buffer Tube kann problemlos gegen andere AR15-Schäfte ausgetauscht werden.
Ein besonderes Highlight ist das wechselbare Magazinsystem. Die Waffe wird mit einem originalen Schweizer SG55X-Magazin ausgeliefert. Zusätzlich ist der AR15-Magazinadapter bereits montiert, wodurch handelsübliche STANAG-Magazine verwendet werden können. Im Lieferumfang befindet sich darüber hinaus ein zusätzliches Oberland Arms 10-Schuss-Magazin in Grün.
