The SIG Sauer SG560 Sport is based on the proven and legendary SG55X platform and represents its modern development. It combines the reliability and precision of Swiss military systems with contemporary modularity according to AR-15 standards. For demanding sports shooters and hunters who expect uncompromising quality.
With the 20″ precision barrel, the SG560 offers maximum bullet velocity and high precision at greater distances. The proven long-stroke piston gas system with a running loading lever is fully retained and is adjustable in several stages – known for high operational reliability even with varying ammunition.
The upper receiver design has been consistently modernized:
free-floating barrel, stable aluminum handguard with surrounding M-LOK interfaces, and a continuous STANAG 4694 Picatinny rail at 12 o'clock for optics and accessories.
The lower receiver concept functionally follows the AR-15 standard:
MAK DRS trigger, adjustable approx. 1.1–3.0 kg
Radian Talon safety, 45° (convertible to 90°)
AR-15 compatible pistol grip
The magazine well is interchangeable:
Factory-installed is the STANAG adapter, allowing the use of AR-15 magazines. Alternatively, original SG55X magazines can be used without an adapter. The magazine release lever and ambidextrous bolt catch are ergonomically designed according to AR-15 layout.

Sie verbindet die Zuverlässigkeit und Präzision der Schweizer Militärsysteme mit zeitgemäßer Modularität nach AR-15 Standard. Mit dem 20″ Präzisionslauf bietet die SG560 maximale Geschossgeschwindigkeit und hohe Präzision auf größere Distanzen. Das bewährte Long-Stroke-Piston-Gasdrucksystem mit mitlaufendem Ladehebel bleibt vollständig erhalten und ist in mehreren Stufen einstellbar – bekannt für hohe Funktionssicherheit auch bei wechselnder Munition.
