FAQ – Frequently asked questions about the ammo box
Are the ammo boxes caliber-specific?
Yes. Each Filamelt Ammo Box is specifically designed for a certain caliber. This ensures that the cartridges sit securely in the compartment and are guided cleanly. A permanent laser engraving additionally provides a quick overview.
Can longer reloading cartridges also be used?
The boxes are designed for standard lengths according to CIP. For cartridges with significantly larger overall lengths, they may no longer fit.
Which size is right for me?
10-boxes are particularly suitable for compact transport and small quantities. 25, 50, or 100 variants are ideal if you want to store or transport larger quantities neatly. Please note: Depending on caliber, not all sizes are available.
Are the boxes suitable for transport?
Yes. Due to the sliding lid and stable construction, the boxes are very suitable for range bags or shooting bags. However, they serve as organization and storage boxes and not as safety containers according to WaffG/AWaffV.
Are the boxes stackable?
Many customers
Store multiple boxes side by side or stacked in the gun cabinet or transport case. Due to the sturdy construction, the boxes can be stacked very well.
The box is difficult to open – what can I do?
Immediately after manufacturing, the sliding lid may initially run a bit tight. After a few opening cycles, the guide will wear in. At the beginning, a sparingly applied gun or PTFE grease on the sliding surfaces helps.

Was die CR2 Batteriebox-Box ausmacht
Kaliberspezifische Passform
Passgenaue Steckplätze nach CIP-Standardmaß – jede Patrone sitzt fest an ihrem Platz, Spiel und Klappern auf ein Minimum reduziert. Die Form folgt dem Kaliber, nicht der Schublade.
Schiebedeckel, platzsparend
Der Deckel wird seitlich aufgeschoben, nicht nach oben geklappt – das spart Höhe und macht die Patronen mit einem Handgriff frei zugänglich. Geschlossen läuft der Deckel in einer Führung und sitzt fest.
Stabil & langlebig
Stabil gedruckt mit kräftiger Wandung: hält im Waffenschrank, in der Range Bag und auf dem Stand zusammen. Wiederverwendbar statt Einweg-Schachtel.
Saubere Kennzeichnung
Das Kaliber ist per Lasergravur dauerhaft auf Front und Deckel angebracht – im vollen Waffenschrank greifst du sofort zur richtigen Box.
Individuell auf Wunsch
Auf Wunsch wird deine Box zum Unikat: optional mit individueller Lasergravur (z. B. Name, Verein oder eigene Kennzeichnung) oder in deiner Wunschfarbe . Sag uns einfach, was dir vorschwebt – wir stimmen die Details persönlich mit dir ab.
Individuell gefertigte Boxen sind vom 14-tägigen Widerruf ausgenommen – dafür entstehen sie genau nach deinem Wunsch.

Wir drucken jede Box bei uns im Westerwald – kein Container-Import, keine anonyme Großserie. Gedruckt wird weitestgehend mit Solarstrom aus unserer eigenen 22-kWp-Photovoltaik . Material: Filamelt PLA+ 2.0 .

Häufige Fragen zur CR2 Batteriebox-Box
Passen auch meine Wiederladepatronen?
Die Box ist für CIP-konforme Patronen ausgelegt. Eigene Laborierungen mit längerem Setzmaß (lange Geschosse, geringe Setztiefe) können nahe der oberen OAL-Grenze knapp werden – im Zweifel vorab kurz anfragen.
Läuft der Schiebedeckel leichtgängig?
Direkt nach der Fertigung kann der Schiebedeckel anfangs etwas stramm laufen; nach einigen Öffnungszyklen arbeitet sich die Führung ein. Zu Beginn hilft ein sparsam aufgetragenes Waffen- oder PTFE-Fett auf den Gleitflächen. Geringe Fertigungstoleranzen sind möglich.
Sind die Boxen für den Transport geeignet?
Für den Transport in der Range Bag ist sie gut geeignet – als Ordnungs- und Aufbewahrungsbox. Sie ersetzt kein vorgeschriebenes Sicherheitsbehältnis (WaffG/AWaffV) und ist keine Gefahrgutverpackung.
Verträgt die Box Hitze (z. B. den Sommer-Kofferraum)?
Bei normaler Raum- und Schranklagerung ist die Box dauerhaft formstabil. Wie alle PLA-Werkstoffe ist sie nicht für dauerhafte Hitze gemacht – im prallen Sommer-Kofferraum (deutlich über 50 °C) sollte sie nicht über längere Zeit liegen.
Wie sind Toleranzen im 3D-Druck?
Im 3D-Druck sind kleine Fertigungstoleranzen normal. Am festen Sitz der Patronen ändert das nichts; ein geringes Restspiel bleibt aber bauartbedingt, und die Geschossnase wird soweit möglich geschont.

Diese Box dient der Organisation und dem Transport und ist kein Sicherheitsbehältnis im Sinne von § 36 WaffG / § 13 AWaffV; sie ersetzt keine vorgeschriebene Munitionsaufbewahrung und besitzt keine ADR-/UN-Gefahrgutzulassung. Bitte prüfe vor Nutzung die Eignung für deine konkrete Patrone.
