Custom-fit slots according to CIP standard dimensions – each cartridge sits firmly in its place, minimizing play and rattling. The shape follows the caliber, not the drawer.

Sliding lid, space-saving
The lid slides open from the side, not flipped up – this saves height and makes the cartridges easily accessible with one hand. When closed, the lid runs in a guide and sits securely.

Solid construction for continuous use – firm stand in the cabinet, well stored in the range bag, reusable instead of disposable packaging.

Clean labeling
The caliber is permanently marked on the front and lid by laser engraving – in a full gun cabinet, you immediately reach for the right box.

Frequently asked questions about the .50 BMG box

Do my reloading cartridges also fit?
The box is designed for CIP-compliant .50 BMG (OAL up to 138.43 mm according to CIP). Custom loads with longer seating depth (long bullets, shallow seating depth) may be close to the upper OAL limit – if in doubt, please inquire in advance.

Does the sliding lid run smoothly?
htgängig?
Directly after manufacturing, the sliding cover may initially run a bit tight; after a few opening cycles, the guide will wear in. At the beginning, a sparingly applied gun or PTFE grease on the sliding surfaces helps. Minor manufacturing tolerances are possible.

Are the boxes suitable for transport?
Yes. As a storage and organization box, it accompanies you in the Range Bag. However, it is not a safety container in the sense of the WaffG/AWaffV and not an approved hazardous goods packaging.

Can the box withstand heat (e.g., the summer trunk)?
Yes, with normal storage, it remains dimensionally stable. High continuous heat – like in a hot trunk in midsummer – is not suitable for PLA; the box is not designed for that.

What are the tolerances in 3D printing?
In 3D printing, small manufacturing tolerances are normal. This does not change the tight fit of the cartridges; however, a slight play remains due to the design, and the bullet tip is preserved as much as possible.

Kaliberspezifische Passform
Passgenaue Steckplätze nach CIP-Standardmaß – jede Patrone sitzt fest an ihrem Platz, Spiel und Klappern auf ein Minimum reduziert. Die Form folgt dem Kaliber, nicht der Schublade.

Schiebedeckel, platzsparend
Der Deckel wird seitlich aufgeschoben, nicht nach oben geklappt – das spart Höhe und macht die Patronen mit einem Handgriff frei zugänglich. Geschlossen läuft der Deckel in einer Führung und sitzt sicher.

Solide Bauweise für den Dauereinsatz – fester Stand im Schrank, gut verstaut im Range Bag, immer wieder verwendbar statt Wegwerf-Verpackung.

Häufige Fragen zur .50 BMG-Box

Passen auch meine Wiederladepatronen?
Die Box ist für CIP-konforme .50 BMG ausgelegt (OAL bis 138,43 mm nach CIP). Eigene Laborierungen mit längerem Setzmaß (lange Geschosse, geringe Setztiefe) können nahe der oberen OAL-Grenze knapp werden – im Zweifel vorab kurz anfragen.

Läuft der Schiebedeckel leichtgängig?
Direkt nach der Fertigung kann der Schiebedeckel anfangs etwas stramm laufen; nach einigen Öffnungszyklen arbeitet sich die Führung ein. Zu Beginn hilft ein sparsam aufgetragenes Waffen- oder PTFE-Fett auf den Gleitflächen. Geringe Fertigungstoleranzen sind möglich.

Sind die Boxen für den Transport geeignet?
Ja. Als Aufbewahrungs- und Organisationsbox begleitet sie dich in der Range Bag. Sie ist allerdings kein Sicherheitsbehältnis im Sinne des WaffG/AWaffV und keine zugelassene Gefahrgutverpackung.

Verträgt die Box Hitze (z. B. den Sommer-Kofferraum)?
Ja, bei üblicher Lagerung bleibt sie formstabil. Hohe Dauerhitze – wie im prallen Kofferraum im Hochsommer – ist für PLA jedoch nichts; dafür ist die Box nicht gedacht.

Wie sind Toleranzen im 3D-Druck?
Im 3D-Druck sind kleine Fertigungstoleranzen normal. Am festen Sitz der Patronen ändert das nichts; ein geringes Restspiel bleibt aber bauartbedingt, und die Geschossnase wird soweit möglich geschont.

Wähle deine Kapazität für .50 BMG – von der kleinen Box fürs Range Bag bis zur großen Box für den Vorrat.
