The PUMA skinning knife is ideal for field dressing game due to its rounded blade tip, as it does not injure the internal organs and thus prevents contamination of the meat. The blade is made of German kitchen knife steel according to DIN WN 1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) and features a continuously sharp edge. The handle, made of high-quality and acid-resistant plastic "polypropylene," is seamlessly molded onto the tang, as is customary for professional kitchen cutting tools for hygienic reasons. Das PUMA Gekrösemesser eignet sich aufgrund seiner abgerundeten Klingenspitze bestens zum Aufbrechen von Wild, da die Innereien nicht verletzt werden und das Wildbret somit nicht verunreinigt werden kann.
Die Klinge ist aus deutschem Küchenmesserstahl nach DIN WN 1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) gefertigt und besitzt eine durchgehend scharfe Schneide. Der Griff aus hochwertigen sowie säurebeständigen Kunststoff „Polypropylen“ ist, wie bei professionellen Küchenschneidwerkzeugen aus hygienischen Gründen üblich, fugenlos auf den Erl aufgespritzt.
