Man kann mit der Vogelklage einen Vogelangstruf oder das Vogelangstgeschrei imitieren. Mit den verschiedenen Klage-, Warn- und Stresslauten von Singvögeln, die mit diesem Wildlocker nachgeahmt werden können, steht das Raubwild und Raubzeug erstaunlich gut zu. Die Laute dieses Jagdlockers eignen sich besonders gut um Füchse, Marder und anderes Raubwild oder Raubzeug zum zustehen zu bekommen, da durch das nachahmen eines kleinen, geschlagenen Singvogels, eine sehr gute Lockwirkung erzielt wird.Mit nur wenig Übung bekommt man die passenden Laute erzeugt, um das Raubwild zu reizen und auf Schussdistanz zu locken.
