The transmit-capable wildlife camera SecaCam 3 from Zeiss informs you at any time of day or night about who is roaming in the area. It can do this even more effectively in the Wide Angle version with its 100° wide-angle lens, which covers a very large field of view, and a minimum focusing distance of only 30 cm. The SecaCam Wide Angle is optimal where a large area and open terrain need to be observed, while the conventional SecaCam 3 with its 60° field of view provides more details at greater distances.
The innovative animal detection is based on AI support. The PIR Fresnel lens, whose shiny surface transmits IR light better, optimizes motion detection and also responds to smaller and more distant animals. The newly developed chip set by Zeiss enables improved processing and H265 compression of images as well as fast transmission.
Brilliant Images
The Zeiss SecaCam 3 Wide Angle delivers clear and high-contrast shots in a resolution of 1,920×1,080 px (16:9). For monitoring in problematic lighting conditions and at night in complete darkness, it is equipped with an infrared flash with 60 black LEDs and an extremely light-sensitive sensor. The motion sensor accurately detects the appearance of wildlife from 30 cm and in an enormous field of view of 100°. The Noglow LEDs ensure discreet recording without disturbing the wildlife. The SecaCam 3 Wide Angle reacts very quickly with a trigger time of 0.35-0.45 s and automatically adjusts the strength of the invisible flash, which also minimizes energy consumption.
AI "Color the Night" and IR Boost Technology
The animal detection is AI-based. The automatically identified objects are then highlighted in a colored frame. A particularly useful feature of the SecaCam 3 Wide Angle is the "Color the Night" function. This allows night shots to be colorized, so that even in complete darkness, contrast-rich and detailed images are obtained. The IR Boost technology developed by Zeiss produces excellent shots in 940 nm infrared light. This spectral range is not perceived by animals and does not disturb them in their natural behavior.
Easy Installation
Thanks to its compact design and low weight, the SecaCam 3 Wide Angle wildlife camera can be mounted anywhere, in tight and hard-to-reach places or on trees and bushes. Thus, no terrain and no habitat goes unobserved. The installation at the site is done via strap, cable lock, or tripod thread (not included). The wildlife camera is robust, even under the harshest environmental conditions. The housing is waterproof, and it withstands heat, hail, and snow. With the live view on the display, the camera can be aligned in real-time and the image section corrected.
Plug-and-Play
The Zeiss SecaCam 3 Wide Angle features a built-in 32 GB memory for photos and videos. The required 8 LR6 (AA) batteries and a multi-roaming SIM card are already pre-installed. You can therefore activate the camera directly via code after installation. The operation is simple and intuitive; you do not need extensive technical knowledge. The intelligent pre-configured default settings cover the most common areas of use. Modifications can be easily made on the 1.9'' color display. And with the "Test" button, it can be easily checked whether everything works as it should.
Communication with Your Device

To link with the Zeiss SecaCam app or through your Zeiss user account on the website, simply enter the included activation code. The SecaCam app not only allows you to configure and organize – battery and storage status, location data, etc. – your trail camera, but you can also share the collected data with your hunting friends. Your data is stored using Zeiss Cloud technology and is subject to EU data protection regulations.

Einfache Montage
Dank der kompakten Bauweise und dem geringen Gewicht kann die SecaCam 3 Wide Angle-Wildkamera überall montiert werden, an engen und schwer zugänglichen Orten oder an Bäumen und Sträuchern. So bleiben kein Gelände und kein Lebensraum unbeobachtet. Die Anbringung am Einsatzort erfolgt per Gurt, Kabelschloss oder Stativgewinde (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten).
