The versatile Lynx thermal imaging monoculars have been available for some time in the improved 3.0 version. Hikmicro has now expanded the Lynx 3.0 family with two additional models, equipped with a powerful 640x512 sensor. All 3.0 handheld devices feature optimized performance characteristics, new features, a more ergonomic design, and the latest image algorithm with AI support. With a magnification range of 1.9x to 15.2x and the 35 mm lens, the LQ35L 3.0 is the ideal solution for medium to long-range distances. The special feature of this device is the integrated laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1,000 m.
The Sensor
In the Hikmicro model designation, the Q models in a series are the devices with the largest sensors. The LQ35L 3.0 has a high-resolution 12-μm thermal sensor developed by Hikmicro itself with 640x512 px and a NETD value of ≤15 mK. This allows it to detect even the smallest temperature differences. In conjunction with the 35 mm lens, an F/1.0 aperture, and the intelligent Image Pro 3.0 algorithm, it delivers clear and contrast-rich detailed images. The detection range is 1,800 m, and the field of view of 21.9x13.2 m at 100 m provides a good overview, allowing you to keep identified objects in sight.
The Display
The latest Hikmicro image processing algorithm Image Pro 3.0 generates optimized images from the thermal data on the 49-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1920x1080 px, with the display being round or rectangular depending on preference. Additionally, the display features a picture-in-picture function. The intuitive menu is hierarchically arranged and can be customized to quickly access frequently used functions. Depending on the viewing conditions and personal needs, you can choose between the color tones Cold and Warm as well as the modes Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, Red Monochrome, and Green Monochrome. The Shutterless Image System (HSIS) prevents image freezing.
The Device
With its compact dimensions of 169.6x53.6x49.5 mm and a lightweight of 410 g with battery, the Lynx LQ35L 3.0 can be easily stored in jackets or pants pockets, making it ideal as a constant companion in the field. The monocular is ergonomically designed with its optimized cylinder design. The operation is extremely user-friendly due to the raised elements and the rubberized focus ring. The robust magnesium housing meets the IP67 protection class and is shock and water-resistant. The climatic operating range extends from -30 to 45 °C. The removable 18650 battery can be charged either in the monocular or in the included charger. It has a runtime of up to 4.5 hours at 25 °C with WiFi turned on. An automatic standby mode saves energy by turning off the display when tilted horizontally by 75° and vertically by 70°. For stationary use, an external power supply via USB-C cable is possible.
The APP
The integrated 64 GB memory provides ample space for snapshots and video clips with sound in a local album. The recorded files can be transferred to a PC or mobile device via USB. Through the integrated hotspot module, a connection to the Hikmicro Sight app on the smartphone can be established. This turns the smartphone into a second display and remote control via WiFi.
The Laser Rangefinder
The integrated laser rangefinder only adds about 55 g to the weight of the device. Its laser complies with safety class 1. It has a wavelength of 905 nm and a range of 1,000 m.
with a measurement accuracy of ±1 m. The minimum detector range is 10 m.
Scope of delivery

Sämtliche 3.0-Handgeräte weisen optimierte Leistungsmerkmale, neue Features, ein ergonomischeres Design und den neuesten Bild-Algorithmus mit KI-Unterstützung auf. Mit einem Vergrößerungsbereich von 1,9-fach bis 15,2-fach und dem 35-mm-Objektiv ist das LQ35L 3.0 die ideale Lösung für den mittleren bis langen Entfernungsbereich. Das besondere Merkmal dieses Geräts ist der integrierte Laser Entfernungsmesser mit einer Reichweite von bis zu 1.000 m.
Der Sensor
In der Hikmicro-Typenbezeichnung sind die Q-Modelle in einer Serie die Geräte mit den größten Sensoren. So hat das LQ35L 3.0 einen von Hikmicro selbst entwickelten hochauflösenden 12-μm-Thermosensor mit 640x512 px und einem NETD-Wert von ≤15 mK. Damit kann es selbst die kleinsten Wärmeunterschiede ausmachen. In Verbindung mit dem 35-mm-Objektiv, einer F/1,0-Blende und dem intelligenten Image Pro 3.0 Algorithmus liefert es klare und kontrast- und detailreiche Bilder. Der Detektionsbereich liegt bei 1.800 m, das Sehfeld von 21,9x13,2 m auf 100 m gewährt einen guten Überblick, bei dem man die identifizierten Objekte nicht aus dem Auge verliert.
Das Display

Je nach den Sichtbedingungen und den persönlichen Bedürfnissen kann zwischen den Farbtönen Cold und Warm sowie den Modi Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, Red Monochrome und Green Monochrome gewählt werden. Das Shutterless Image System (HSIS) verhindert das Einfrieren der Bilder.
Das Gerät
Das mit seinen kompakten Maßen von 169,6x53,6 x49,5 mm und mit seinem leichten Gewicht 410 g mit Akku kann das Lynx LQ35L 3.0 in Jacken oder Hosentasche gesteckt werden und ist somit ideal als ständiger Begleiter im Revier. Das Monokular ist mit seinem optimierten Zylinderdesign ergonomisch perfekt gestaltet. Die Bedienung ist durch die erhabenen Elemente und dem gummierter Fokusring äußerst benutzerfreundlich. Das robuste Magnesiumgehäuse entspricht der Schutzklasse IP67 und ist schlag- und wasserfest. Der klimatische Einsatzbereich reicht von -30 bis 45 °C. Der herausnehmbare 18650-Akku kann entweder im Monokular oder in dem mitgelieferten Charger geladen werden. Er hat eine Betriebsdauer von bis zu 4,5 Stunden bei 25 °C, und eingeschaltetem WiFi. Ein automatischer Standby-Modus spart Energie, indem das Display bei einer horizontalen Drehung von 75° und einer vertikalen Neigung von 70° ausgeschaltet wird. Bei stationärem Einsatz ist eine externe Stromversorgung via USB-C-Kabel möglich.
Die APP
Der integrierte 64-GB-Speicher bietet ausreichend Platz für Schnappschüsse und Videoclips mit Ton in einem lokalen Album. Die aufgenommenen Dateien können per USB auf den PC oder ein mobiles Endgerät übertragen werden. Über das integrierte Hotspot-Modul kann eine Verbindung zu der Sight-App von Hikmicro auf dem Smartphone hergestellt werden. Dieses wird so per WiFi zu einem zweiten Display und zur Fernsteuerung.
Der Laser-Entfernungsmesser
Der integrierte Laser-Entfernungsmesser erhöht das Gewicht des Geräts bloß um rund 55 g. Sein Laser entspricht der Sicherheitsklasse 1. Er hat eine Wellenlänge von 905 nm und eine Reichweite von 1.000 m mit einer Messgenauigkeit von ±1 m. Die minimale Detektorreichweite beträgt 10 m.
