The Optics
The field of view of the Hawke Vantage IR 3-9x50 is 11.2-3.7 m at 100 m, allowing for good situational awareness. The eye relief is 90 mm, which is advantageous when using large calibers with strong recoil. The lenses of the 50 mm objective are equipped with an 11-layer fully multi-coated finish. The Hawke H2 optical system is extremely light-transmissive and parallax-free at 91 m.
The L4A Dot Reticle (2.5 MOA)
The illuminated reticle of the Vantage IR 3-9x50 is adjustable in 5 red and 5 green brightness levels. It is located in the second focal plane. The reticle is etched in glass and extremely robust. The illuminated dot is free between the bars and has a size of 2.5 MOA. At 4x magnification, the distance between the bars corresponds to 83 cm at 100 m.
The Housing
The housing is made of durable aluminum, it is waterproof and filled with nitrogen to prevent internal fogging. The riflescope is shockproof with all calibers. The zoom ring has an optimal high rotational resistance, which facilitates precise adjustment. The turrets are flat and feature protective caps.

Der Leuchtpunkt liegt frei zwischen den Balken und hat eine Größe von 2,5 MOA. Bei 4facher Vergrößerung entspricht der Abstand zwischen den Balken 83 cm auf 100 m Entfernung.
Das Gehäuse
Das Gehäuse ist aus robustem Aluminium gefertigt, es ist wasserdicht und gegen inneres Beschlagen mit Stickstoff gefüllt. Das Zielfernrohr ist schussfest mit allen Kalibern. Der Zoom-Ring hat einen optimal hohen Drehwiderstand, was eine präzise Justierung erleichtert. Die Türme sind flach und verfügen über Abdeckkappen.
