Ein wahrhaft außergewöhnliches Modell ist unser PUMA SGB buffalo hunter. Es vereint erstaunlich viele Eigenschaften in einem Messer. Die Klingenspitze ist in Clip-Point-Form gehalten und damit sehr effektiv. Die Schneide ist im vorderen Bereich bauchig ausgeformt und wird durch den kurvigen Verlauf ("Recurve") wirksam verlängert. Zudem verlagert sich der Messerschwerpunkt dadurch nach vorn und bietet dem Anwender mehr Schlagwucht als vollkommen gerade Klingen. Mit einer Besonderheit wartet auch der Griff auf: Die mit auf dem voll durchgehenden Flacherl vernieteten Schalen bestehen aus edlem Olivenholz!
