The PUMA Knife of the Year 2018, designed by h.p. knoop, combines Nordic mythology with traditional craftsmanship. "The god Odin took out his eye and placed it in the well of wisdom and could then see what was happening in the world." This is stated in the description of the Damascus steel "Odin's Eye," from which the blade of the PUMA knife is made. The blade is combined with handle scales made of white Micarta and bolsters made of nickel silver. On one side of the handle scales, an emerald is set, symbolizing Odin's eye.

Das PUMA Messer des Jahres 2018, designed von h.p. knoop, verbindet nordische Mythologie mit traditioneller Handwerkskunst. „Der Gott Odin nahm sein Auge heraus und setzte es in den Brunnen der Weisheit und konnte dann sehen, was in der Welt passiert war.“ So heißt es in der Beschreibung des Damaststahls “Odins Eye“, aus der die Klinge des PUMA Messers hergestellt wurde. Kombiniert ist die Klinge mit Griffschalen aus weißem Micarta und Backen aus Neusilber. Auf einer Seite der Griffschalen ist ein Smaragd eingefasst, er symbolisiert das Auge Odins.
