Helle Viking – traditional knife with classic character
The Helle Viking is based on a historical special model created for a circumnavigation of the globe with a reconstructed Viking ship. Its conical birch wood handle deliberately forgoes contours, allowing it to adapt very naturally to different hand sizes.
The 11 cm long blade made of laminated carbon steel features a dark coloration from the heat treatment. This finish has a rustic appearance and emphasizes the traditional character of the knife. The narrow tang is classically pinned in the old style, ensuring a stable connection between the blade and the handle.
The Viking is suitable for carving, camp tasks, and typical work in the field or at the campsite. It is delivered in a traditional leather sheath that hangs loosely and conveniently on the belt, in true Scandinavian style.

Helle Viking – traditionelles Messer mit klassischem Charakter
Das Helle Viking basiert auf einem historischen Sondermodell, das für eine Weltumrundung mit einem rekonstruierten Wikingerschiff entstand. Sein kegelförmiger Birkenholzgriff verzichtet bewusst auf Konturen und passt sich dadurch unterschiedlichen Handgrößen sehr natürlich an.
Die 11 cm lange Klinge aus laminiertem Kohlenstoffstahl trägt die dunkle Färbung aus der Wärmebehandlung. Dieses Finish wirkt rustikal und unterstreicht den traditionellen Charakter des Messers. Der schmale Erl ist nach alter Art klassisch verstiftet und sorgt für eine stabile Verbindung zwischen Klinge und Griff.
Das Viking eignet sich für Schnitzarbeiten, Lageraufgaben und typische Arbeiten im Revier oder am Lagerplatz. Geliefert wird es in einer traditionellen Lederscheide, die ganz nach skandinavischer Art locker und griffbereit am Gürtel hängt.
