Hikmicro has subjected the Lynx thermal imaging monoculars to a comprehensive update. The handheld devices now feature improved performance characteristics, new features, an optimized design, extremely compact dimensions, and the latest image algorithm with AI support. The Lynx LH35 3.0 is the device with the largest detection range.
With its compact dimensions of 169.6x53.6x49.5 mm and a lightweight of 354.5 g (with battery), the Lynx LH35 3.0 is ideal as a constant companion in the field, easily fitting into a jacket or trouser pocket. It features a highly sensitive VOx 12-μm sensor produced by Hikmicro itself, with a resolution of 384x288 px and a NETD value of ≤15 mK. This allows it to accurately detect temperature differences. In combination with the large 35 mm lens, an F/1.0 aperture, and the intelligent Image Pro 3.0 algorithm, it delivers clear and high-contrast images.
The Lynx LH35 3.0 has an 8x zoom and a strong magnification range of 3.4-27.2x. The field of view is 13.1x8.0 m at 100 m, and the enormous detection range of 1,800 m allows for safe identification at a distance of 500 m. The 49-inch display has a resolution of 1920x1080 px, and the display can be round or rectangular; it also features a practical picture-in-picture function. The intuitive menu is hierarchically arranged and can be customized to quickly access frequently used functions. Depending on the viewing conditions and personal preferences, users can choose between the color tones Cold and Warm, as well as the modes Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, Red Monochrome, and Green Monochrome. The Shutterless Image System (HSIS) prevents image freezing.
The integrated 64 GB memory provides ample space for snapshots and video clips with sound in the local album. The recorded files can be transferred to a PC or mobile device via USB. Through the integrated hotspot module, a connection can be established to the Hikmicro Sight app on a smartphone, turning it into a second display and remote control via WiFi.
The monocular is ergonomically designed with its optimized cylindrical shape. The operation is extremely user-friendly due to the raised elements and the rubberized focus ring. The robust magnesium housing meets the IP67 protection class and is shock and water-resistant. The climatic operating range extends from -30 to 45 °C. The removable battery can be charged in the monocular and in the included charger. An automatic standby mode saves energy by turning off the display when tilted horizontally at 75° and at an angle of 70°.

Der integrierte 64-GB-Speicher bietet ausreichend Platz für Schnappschüsse und Videoclips mit Ton in dem lokalen Album. Die aufgenommenen Dateien können per USB auf den PC oder ein mobiles Endgerät übertragen werden. Über das integrierte Hotspot-Modul kann eine Verbindung zu der Sight-App von Hikmicro auf dem Smartphone hergestellt werden. Dieses wird so per WiFi zu einem zweiten Display und zur Fernsteuerung.
Das Monokular ist mit seinem optimierten Zylinderdesign ergonomisch perfekt gestaltet. Die Bedienung erweist sich durch die erhabenen Elemente und den gummierten Fokusring als äußerst userfreundlich. Das robuste Magnesiumgehäuse entspricht der Schutzklasse IP67 und ist schlag- und wasserfest. Der klimatische Einsatzbereich reicht von -30 bis 45 °C. Der herausnehmbare Akku kann im Monokular und im mitgelieferten Ladegerät geladen werden. Ein automatischer Standby-Modus spart Energie, indem das Display bei einer horizontalen Drehung von 75° und einer Neigung von 70° ausgeschaltet wird.
